SubGalaxy — Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the SubGalaxy application, operated by Vibentia Media (“we”, “us”), accesses and handles data through YouTube API Services and the Meta platform (Instagram and Facebook).
1. Who uses the application
The application is an internal tool used only by Vibentia Media to operate the SubGalaxy YouTube channel (youtube.com/@subgalaxylive). It is not offered to, installed by or used by the public. It signs in only with Google accounts we own.
2. Data accessed through the YouTube Data API
We use the YouTube Data API only to:
- read public channel statistics (name, avatar, subscriber, view and video counts) to show them on the stream;
- set the title, description and tags of our own live broadcast;
- read our own live chat to find the channel a viewer asks about and reply in chat;
- upload short milestone videos (Shorts) to our own SubGalaxy channel.
3. Viewers of our live streams
When you write in our live chat, our software reads your public display name, channel ID and message text in real time, only to answer your request on screen or in chat, to moderate spam and abuse, and to count which requests are most popular. Viewers never sign in to our application and never grant it access to their accounts. Chat messages are kept on our server for at most 30 days and then deleted; only anonymous totals may be kept.
4. Instagram and Facebook
Our application manages only our own accounts: the SubGalaxy Instagram profile (@subgalaxylive) and Facebook Page (facebook.com/subgalaxylive), through the Instagram API and the Pages API of the Meta platform. Nobody signs in to it with their own Facebook or Instagram account and it never asks people for permissions.
We use it to: publish our own videos (Reels) and posts; read comments left on our own posts and reply to them; hide comments that are spam, scams or abuse; read messages that people send to our Instagram account and reply to them (for example, with the link to our live stream); and read basic statistics of our own accounts.
When you comment on our posts or message our account, the application processes your public username, your account ID on our account (Instagram-scoped ID), the text of your comment or message and its time — only to answer you, to moderate our community and to count totals. Replies are drafted automatically with an AI service (Anthropic) that acts only on our behalf and does not use the data for its own purposes; our team can see the conversations and step in.
These records are kept on our own server for at most 30 days and then deleted; only anonymous totals may be kept. We never sell or share Instagram or Facebook data, never use it for advertising and never combine it with other sources. You can see how to delete your data on our data deletion page.
5. Storage, sharing and deletion
Access tokens are stored on our own server with restricted access and are used only by the application. We do not sell, rent, share or transfer YouTube or Google user data to anyone, we do not use it for advertising, and this website uses no cookies or trackers. Public channel statistics are refreshed continuously and old copies are deleted. You can ask us to delete any data related to you at info@vibentiamedia.com.
6. YouTube API Services and Google
This application uses YouTube API Services. By interacting with it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Access granted to the application can be revoked at any time on the Google account permissions page. Our use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, and with the YouTube API Services Terms of Service.
7. Independence
We are not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube, Google or any channel shown in our content.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version. Questions: info@vibentiamedia.com.
